Pipeline Renovation
Directional Drilling
Directional drilling is undertaken when slip lining and pipe bursting are unsuitable in the renovation of existing pipes and where new pipes are being laid and minimal surface disruption is desirable e.g. crossing roads, railways and waterways. A horizontal drilling machine bores a horizontal hole, at the chosen depth, into which a brand new pipe can be pulled. Holleran can offer installations from 125mm to 315mm in-house.
